Lisa Kudrow Believes Medication May Have Caused Matthew Perry’s DeathA source close to Lisa Kudrow is going up on her behalf, alleging that she believes her “Friends” co-star died as a result of his drugs.“Although no one wants to believe it was medication – prescribed or not – of course that is a thought in their minds,” a source close to Kudrow told DailyMail.com.

“They are thinking he must have taken something that did not mix with the warm water,” the person said.It is vital to note that drowning was apparently the cause of death, although this has not to be confirmed by the coroner’s office. An autopsy has been conducted, and toxicology findings will provide more information about Perry’s death.

The actor struggled with addiction for a long time, but it wasn’t until his memoir that he truly opened up and let down his defenses.“[I was] at the height of my highest point in ‘Friends,’ the highest point in my career, the iconic moment on the iconic show,” the actor said last year while promoting his novel. “When you’re a drug addict, it’s all math.” I wasn’t doing it to get high or feel nice. I wasn’t a party animal; I simply wanted to relax on my couch, take five Vicodin, and watch a movie. That was nirvana for me. It is no longer the case.”

Perry claimed to have been sober for 18 months at the time, saying, “I’ve probably spent $9 million or something trying to get sober.”

Drowning has been named as the most likely cause of death, however this has not yet been proven. An autopsy has been scheduled, which will provide more information about Perry’s death.
