As is the case with any event, however, there is always the possibility of a surprise and nobody knows this better than Joshua Newville.

Joshua was ready to get married to Emily Leehan, but it was not his first time to the altar. It was his second marriage and he already had a young son, Gage, who was there to witness the ceremony.

Both Joshua and Emily serve in the US military and as they were exchanging vows, something happened that touched the heart of everyone at the event.

Gauge was watching when suddenly, he started shedding tears and ran over to give his new stepmother a hug. There was so much emotion and you can tell that it really meant something to him.

Emily had expressed herself in these words: “I want you to be safe and try your hardest to be a good person I hope you know you’re a very special boy. You’ve helped me become the woman I am today, and even though I didn’t give you the gift of life, you are a gift to me.”

After saying it, Gauge was moved to tears. His father tried to comfort him, but it was only the comfort that she could provide.

This was an event that everyone in attendance will remember. Thanks to pictures and this viral story, you will remember it as well.
