71-Year-Old Actor Dies Tragically

Many movie and television actors are remembered for the roles they play. They may have played many over the years, and actor Treat Williams is no exception.

Treat Williams is known for playing Dr. Andy Brown on the Everwood television series. He also played in the movie Hair from 1979 and acted in many other movies over the years.

Unfortunately, we have the sad news of telling you that Treat Williams died at the age of 71. It was a complete shock to his family and friends, as his tragic death came as a surprise to everyone.

Prior to the time that he died, he was in good health but it wasn’t a sickness that took his life, it was an accident. He was out riding his motorcycle and was hit by another vehicle and died.

His agent, Barry McPherson said that he was making a turn when a car cut him off. He went on to say that he was devastated because Williams was the nicest guy and very talented.

According to the local fire chief, the fatal crash occurred on June 12 around 5 PM. It happened in Dorsett along Route 30.

Although there is no indication so far as to what happened, it is believed that the driver didn’t see the motorcycle while they were attempting to turn. There were no other injuries in the accident.

First responders arrived on the scene and had him airlifted to a hospital in New York. The area was prepared so the helicopter could land and the rescue took place quickly.

Williams was born in 1951 in Connecticut. He attended school in Pennsylvania and worked in Lancaster at a local theater. He then moved to New York and became an understudy for a role in the play, Grease.

In 1975, he played a police officer in Deadly Hero. He continued to work in the theater, but now he had made his way over to the big screen as well.

He is survived by his wife and two children. May he rest in peace.
