He clarified the reason people looked up to him wasn’t just about his mechanical skills. People looked up to Bob Peterson because of the way he lived his life and the man he was. Mike’s heartwarming post made it clear that his dear friend Bob had touched him in a profound way and would live on forever in his heart.

Bob was an example to us as someone that loved life and seized each day with so much passion. Always there to help with such conviction and of course humor. He was from an era that we can only romanticize about now. My life and so many others lives were better with him in it… He will be greatly missed. I love you my friend.”

Mike Wolfe admits that he learned so much from Bob and that his life would be forever changed by him. The American Pickers star concluded his post by noting how much he loved his friend and that he would be greatly missed.
