One of the things that many people do is to baptize their babies. This is not something that everyone does and some people wait until they are older, but it is a tradition in some families.

During the time that they are baptized as a baby, most of those youngsters will not be very happy with the situation. They may be held by a stranger and they are either dunked under the water or have water sprinkled on them, depending upon what the religious organization has in mind.

In this particular case, however, the baby did something that was so unexpected, that it captivated the world. It seemed as if the little baby was so overjoyed during the time that he was baptized that he couldn’t stop smiling.

As you can imagine, it was difficult for anybody who was present that day to keep the smile off of their face. Thankfully, they also captured it on video, and that allowed the entire world to have a smile as well.

Marcus, the little baby, was listening to the minister as the ceremony moved forward. He giggles and laughs during the talk and you can see that everyone was enjoying it. Even the man who was officiating the event was captivated.

We don’t know how Marcus is going to turn out in the future, but we do know that he is a very happy baby. It’s our hope that he will continue to enjoy life and perhaps continue to spread smiles among those of us who need it the most.
